Section 10A-2A-11.04 Action on a plan of merger or stock exchange. In the case of a corporation that is a constituent organization or the acquired entity in a stock exchange, the plan of merger or stock exchange shall be adopted in the following manner: (a) The plan of merger or stock exchange shall first be adopted by the board of directors. (b) Except as provided in subsections (h), (j), and (l) and in Section 10A-2A-11.05, the plan of merger or stock exchange shall then be approved by the stockholders. Section 24-8-7 Exemptions. (a) Except for subdivision (3) of Section 24-8-4, Sections 24-8-4 and 24-8-6 do not apply to rooms or units in dwellings containing living quarters occupied or intended to be occupied by no more than four families living independently of each other, if the owner actually maintains and occupies one of the living quarters as his or her residence. Section 16-6F-7 Applicant proposals; conversion to public charter school; terms of charters; contracts. (a) Request for proposals. (1) To solicit, encourage, and guide the development of quality public charter school applications, every local school board, in its role as public charter school authorizer, shall issue and broadly publicize a request for proposals for public charter school applications by July 17, 2015, and by November 1 in each subsequent year.
