Section 11-49B-7 Powers of authority. The authority shall exercise, subject to this chapter, the following powers and duties necessary to the discharge of its powers and duties in corporate form: (1) To have succession by its corporate name for the duration of time, which may be perpetual, subject to the provisions of Section 11-49B-19 specified in its certificate of incorporation. Section 25-4-51 Rates of contributions, etc., by employers. (a) Contributions. Except as hereinafter provided and subject to the provisions of Section 25-4-54, every employer shall pay contributions, or payments in lieu of contributions, equal to the percentages of wages payable or paid as hereinafter set out, with respect to employment by him. Section 25-11-5 Reporting of new hires, etc.; duties of department. (a) An employer shall report to the department, within seven days of hiring, each new hire, recall, or rehire. The information to be reported shall include the name, address, Social Security number, and date of hire of each newly hired, recalled, or rehired individual and the name, address, and state and federal identification numbers of the employer.
