Section 22-23B-2 Definitions. The following words and phrases, whenever used in this chapter, shall have the following respective meanings unless the context clearly indicates otherwise: AUTHORITY. The corporation organized pursuant to the provisions of this chapter as a public corporation, agency and instrumentality of the state and known as the "Alabama Drinking Water Finance Authority." AUTHORIZING RESOLUTION. A resolution, order or other proceedings adopted by the board of directors of the authority authorizing the issuance of bonds, agreements and related matters. BOARD OF DIRECTORS. The board of directors of the authority. BOND PROCEEDS. The net proceeds of sale of bonds or notes, and the income derived from the investment of such proceeds. BONDS. Section 24-10-7 Requirements for eligibility. (a) In order for a proposal to be an activity eligible for support, the following minimum requirements must be met: (1) Beneficiaries of the activity must be individuals or families whose annual income or incomes do not exceed 60 percent of the median family income of a geographic area, as determined by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, with adjustments for smaller and larger families. (a) The association has a lien on a unit for any assessment and any other moneys due the association for special assessments or services or charges, such as water or repairs, levied against that unit or fines imposed against its unit owner from the time the assessment or fine becomes due.
