Section 45-49-252.09 Disposal of waste. (a) All solid waste in Mobile County shall be disposed of in accordance with this code and this part. No solid waste shall be disposed of except in approved disposal facilities operated by the county or by persons possessing valid permits and certificates of need issued according to this part. However, solid waste material may be used for construction site fill with the approval of the Mobile County Building Inspector. The approval shall be in writing. (b) Any producer of hazardous or infectious waste shall possess a permit for handling or managing solid waste issued in accordance with Section 45-49-252.05. This permit shall specify all management techniques to be used in connection with such solid waste.
