Section 23-1-376 Authority to conduct public hearings in considering application for approval of airport. The director may conduct public hearings for the purpose of gathering information and public comment on the consideration of an application for approval of an airport or a restricted landing area, or an original license to use or operate an airport, restricted landing area, or other air navigation facility. Notice of any public hearing shall be published not less than 15 days prior to the date of any public hearing in a newspaper of general circulation in Montgomery County, Alabama, or county seat of the county in which the proposed airport, restricted landing area, or other air navigation facility is proposed to be situated.
