Section 37-3-12 Certificate of public convenience and necessity - Scope of authority granted; deviations; charter parties; transportation of newspapers, baggage or mail; abandonment or discontinuance. Section 34-9-63 Permit to use parenteral sedation. The issuance of a permit for general anesthesia shall include the privilege of administering parenteral sedation in accordance with this section. The issuance of a permit for parenteral sedation shall include the privilege of administering intravenous sedation. All current intravenous sedation permit holders are entitled to a parenteral sedation permit subject to the renewal and regulatory provisions afforded to the Board of Dental Examiners by this chapter. The term parenteral sedation shall not include the use or regulation of nitrous oxide. (1) No dentist shall use parenteral sedation on an outpatient basis for dental patients unless the dentist possesses a permit of authorization issued by the board. (a) The commissioner shall provide by regulation for the issuance of an annual identification marker for every Alabama IFTA-based carriers' qualified vehicles and the qualified vehicles from non-IFTA-member jurisdictions, as defined in Article 9 of Chapter 17 of this title, for a fee based on administrative costs of administering the agreements pursuant to Article 9 of Chapter 17 of this title.
