Section 22-4-9 Health systems agencies. The health systems agencies designated by the Secretary of the Department of Health, Education and Welfare, in coordination with the Governor, shall provide those functions accorded to them in Section 1513 of PL 93-641 (42 U.S.C. ยง3001-2) for their designated health service areas and coordinate their efforts with the State Board of Health and the Statewide Health Coordinating Council in all planning activities.
