Section 33-5A-3 Duty. (a) Except as provided in Section 33-5A-5, a person who removes a vessel pursuant to this chapter shall do all of the following: (1) Give written notice of the removal to the agency within five calendar days. The notice shall include a complete description of the vessel, the vessel identification number, and any other information required by the agency. (2) Perform a lien search on the vessel with the Secretary of State of Alabama, the Secretary of State of the state of the owner's residence, and the National Vessel Documentation Center. (3) Give written notice of the removal of the vessel to the owner and lienholders of record of all of the following: a. The location of the vessel. b. The normal business hours of the facility, if any, holding the vessel. c. Any accrued charges or fees and the daily storage rate. d. Section 37-16-7 Civil action by owner of interest in real property subject to easement; damages; condemnation; receipt of rights by grant or agreement; motice of installation; liability. (a) If the owner of an interest in real property subject to an electric easement contends that the owner's property has been taken, injured, or destroyed by the construction, installation, use, or enlargement of broadband systems within the electric easement on the owner's property and the electric easement does not expressly provide for such, the owner may file a civil action in the circuit court for the county in which the property is located to recover damages as specified by this section. (a) The Legislature declares that, in order to achieve the economic redevelopment and site rehabilitation of contaminated properties in accordance with this chapter, it is imperative to encourage financing of real property transactions involving qualifying property. Section 32-7A-12 Suspension of registration. (a) The department shall suspend the vehicle registration of any motor vehicle determined to be in violation of Section 32-7A-4, including any motor vehicle operated in violation of Section 32-7A-16 by an operator other than the owner of the vehicle.
