Section 22-28-10 Powers of commission generally; advisory committees. In addition to other
powers conferred on it by law, the commission shall have power to: (1) Hold hearings relating
to any aspect of or matter in the administration of this chapter and, in connection therewith,
compel the attendance of witnesses and the production of evidence through subpoena, as provided
in this chapter; (2) Issue such orders as may be necessary to effectuate the purposes of this
chapter and enforce the same by all appropriate administrative and judicial proceedings; (3)
Require access to records relating to emissions which cause or contribute to air contamination;

Section 11-47-7.1 Additional court costs and fees on certain municipal cases; disposition of
funds. (a) In addition to any court costs and fees now or hereafter authorized, any municipal
governing body, by majority vote of the municipal governing body, may individually or jointly
with one or more municipalities in the county levy and assess additional court costs and fees
up to an amount not to exceed the court costs and fees in the district court of the county
for a similar case on each case hereafter filed in any municipal court of the municipality
or municipalities. The cost or fee shall not be waived by any court unless all other costs,

Section 15-18-76 Restitution centers - Establishment and operation; cooperation of counties
and municipalities. (a) The county commissions of several counties and the governing authorities
of municipalities are hereby authorized to cooperate with the State Board of Pardons and Paroles
in the establishment of restitution centers. Such centers shall be operated by the State Board
of Pardons and Paroles. County or municipal property may be utilized with the approval of
the county commission or municipal governing authority for the construction, renovation, and

Section 40-6A-5 Support services provided by local governing bodies; compensation of office
personnel; membership in Merit System. The governing bodies of each of the counties of this
state shall provide the tax assessor, tax collector, revenue commissioner, license commissioner
or such other official charged with assessing and collecting ad valorem taxes with such office
personnel, clerks, and deputies, and such quarters, books, stationery, furniture, equipment,
and other such conveniences and supplies as may be necessary for the proper and efficient
conduct of such offices. The compensation of any personnel so provided shall be fixed by said
