In anticipation of issuance of bonds under this chapter, the authority may, from time to time, borrow such sums as may be needed, not exceeding $1,000,000.00 in aggregate principal amount, for any of the purposes for which bonds are authorized to be issued under this chapter and in evidence of the moneys so borrowed may issue its promissory notes. Section 16-16-14 Use of bond proceeds for loans to local boards of education. The proceeds derived from the sale of any bonds issued pursuant to subsection (b) of Section 3 of Act 98-373 shall be deposited in the State Treasury and shall be carried in a separate fund therein for the account of the authority, which shall pay therefrom the expenses of issuance thereof.
