Section 17-2-4 Voting system requirements; vote standards; uniform polling system; purchase of equipment. (a) On or before January 1, 2005, each voting system used in an election shall meet the following requirements: (1) The voting system shall: a. Permit the voter to verify, in a private and independent manner, the votes selected by the voter on the ballot before the ballot is cast and counted. b. Provide the voter with the opportunity, in a private and independent manner, to change the ballot or correct any error before the ballot is cast and counted, including the opportunity to correct the error through the issuance of a replacement ballot if the voter was otherwise unable to change the ballot or correct any error. c. Section 22-30F-8 Funding of a loan. (a) In order to provide for the funding of a loan by the authority for a project to the public body, such public body shall, to the extent required by the authority as a condition precedent to the making of a loan, establish a dedicated source of revenue to repay the moneys received from the authority and to provide for operation, maintenance, and equipment replacement expenses. (a) On and after January 1, 2001: (1) All public deposits of all covered public entities and covered public officials shall be governed by this chapter and shall be secured as provided in this chapter.
