Section 33-12-5 Powers, duties and functions. The powers, duties and functions of the agency
shall be as follows: (1) GENERALLY. The agency a. Shall have perpetual succession in its corporate
name. b. May sue and be sued in its corporate name. c. May adopt, use and alter a corporate
seal, which shall be judicially noticed. d. May enter into such contracts and cooperative
agreements with the federal, state and local governments, with agencies of such governments,
with private individuals, corporations, associations, trusts and other organizations as the
board may deem necessary or convenient to enable it to carry out the purposes of this chapter,

Section 41-14A-2 Definitions. As used in this chapter, the following words and terms shall
have the following meanings: (1) AVERAGE MONTHLY BALANCE OF PUBLIC DEPOSITS. The sum of the

Section 41-14A-6 Establishment of SAFE board of directors; powers and duties of the board of
directors. (a) There is hereby established a Board of Directors of the SAFE Program charged
with responsibility and authority to assess and manage the sufficiency of the collateral pool
and the SAFE Program to provide adequate protection from losses to public depositors. In exercising

Section 25-4-10 Employment. (a) Subject to other provisions of this chapter, "employment"

Section 33-2-8 General provisions relative to inland waterways improvement bonds and temporary
loans. In order to provide funds for the purposes herein authorized, the Governor is hereby

revocation; release of information. (a)(1)a. The sheriff of a county, upon the application
of any person residing in that county, within 30 days from receipt of a complete application
and accompanying fee, shall issue or renew a permit for such person to carry a pistol in a
vehicle or concealed on or about his or her person within this state for one- to five-year
