Section 22-30D-2 Legislative findings. (a) The Legislature of the State of Alabama makes the following findings and declarations: (1) The soils, water, and air of this state constitute unique and delicately balanced resources. (2) The protection of these resources is vital to the economy of this state. (3) The preservation of waters of this state is a matter of the highest urgency and priority as these waters provide a primary source of potable water in this state and that such use can only be served effectively by maintaining the quality of waters in as close to a comparable previous condition as possible, taking into account multiple use accommodations necessary to provide the broadest possible promotion of public and private interests. Section 31-9-87 Alabama Statewide Emergency Notification System Fund. (a) Funds shall be appropriated by the Legislature to the Alabama Statewide Emergency Notification System Fund within the recovery fund for the purposes of establishing, implementing, maintaining, and operating the system, and, thereafter, shall be appropriated annually by the Legislature for continuous maintenance and operation of the system. Funding for the system may also be derived from gifts, federal grants, other appropriations from the Legislature, fees and contributions from users, or any other sources permitted by law. Section 34-23-184 Audit procedures; report. (a) The entity conducting an audit shall follow these procedures: (1) The pharmacy contract shall identify and describe in detail the audit procedures. (2) The entity conducting the on-site audit shall give the pharmacy written notice at least two weeks before conducting the initial on-site audit for each audit cycle. If the pharmacy benefit manager does not include their auditing guidelines within their provider manual, then the notice must include a documented checklist of all items being audited and the manual, including the name, date, and edition or volume, applicable to the audit and auditing guidelines. For on-site audits a pharmacy benefit manager shall also provide a list of material that is copied or removed during the course of an audit to the pharmacy.
