Section 2-6-1 Creation; composition; duties; compensation; rules and regulations. There is hereby created and established an Agricultural Center Board, to consist of the Director of Finance, Governor, Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries, Chair of the Montgomery County Commission, President of the Montgomery City Council, Mayor of Montgomery, and four members who shall be qualified electors of the State of Alabama and who shall be appointed by the Governor to hold office concurrently with the Governor and until their successors are appointed and qualified. (a) This section shall apply only to Lee County in those areas outside the corporate limits of the Cities of Auburn, Opelika, and Phenix City.
