Section 22-3-2 County boards of health - Duties generally. (a) Except as provided in subsection (d), members of a governmental body as defined in Section 36-25A-2, that is comprised of members from two or more counties, may participate in a meeting of that governmental body by means of telephone conference, video conference, or other similar communications equipment which allows all persons participating in the meeting to hear each other at the same time. Section 34-13-56 Grounds for revocation, suspension, or refusal to issue or renew licenses, etc.; hearing; fines. (a) The board may refuse to license any person or establishment for violation of this chapter. If the commissioner is satisfied from his investigation that the character and general fitness of the persons to manage an association are such as to assure a proper, fair and successful operation of such association and that such association will be of public benefit, then a permit to operate shall be granted after all officers handling or controlling property or cash shall have given a bond in such amount and under such conditions as may be prescribed by the State Board of Agriculture and Industries.
