Section 27-1-21 Uniformity of limits applied to fulfillment of certain drug prescriptions. (a) For the purposes of this section, the following words shall have the following meanings: (1) ENROLLEE. A person enrolled in a health benefit plan. (2) HEALTH BENEFIT PLAN. Any individual or group plan, policy, or contract for health care services issued, delivered, issued for delivery, renewed in this state by a health care insurer, health maintenance organization, accident and sickness insurer, fraternal benefit society, nonprofit hospital service corporation, nonprofit medical service corporation, health care service plan, or any other person, firm, corporation, joint venture, or other similar business entity that pays for, purchases, or furnishes health care services to patients, insureds, or beneficiaries in this state. Section 3-1-21 Sale or exchange of horse or mule affected with glanders, etc.; fee of district attorney. Any person who, by himself or another or as agent for another, shall knowingly sell or exchange any horse or mule subject to the disease or affection known as "choking," or affected with glanders or some other fatal, contagious or infectious disease must, on conviction, be fined not less than $100.00 nor more than $500.00 and may also be sentenced to hard labor for the county for not less than three nor more than six months. (a) A local board of education may not hire, employ, or enter into any agreement with any person for the purposes of operating a school bus transporting students to or from school or school related events, unless the person is physically qualified to drive a school bus.
