Section 45-5-120 Merit system; board; violations. (a) This section shall apply only in Blount County, Alabama. (b) As used in this section, unless the context clearly requires a different meaning: (1) "County" means Blount County; (2) "Municipality" means any municipality in Blount County; (3) "Employee" means any person, including law enforcement officers, not excepted by subsection (c), who is employed in the service of Blount County or any municipality of Blount County or any board, agency, or instrumentality thereof; (4) "Merit employee" means any such employee who shall have completed one year of probationary employment; (5) "Board" means the merit system board created by this section; (6) "Appointment authority" means in the case of employees in the offices of the elected officials of the county or of a municipality, such elected officials, and means, in the case of all other county or municipal employees, the county or municipal governing body, or the board or other agency...

(a) A juvenile sex offender subject to lifetime registration pursuant to Section 15-20A-28 may file a petition requesting the sentencing juvenile court to enter an order relieving the juvenile sex offender of the requirements pursuant to this chapter 25 years after the juvenile sex offender is released from the custody of the Department of Youth Services or sentenced, if the juvenile sex offender was placed on probation, for the sex offense requiring registration pursuant to this chapter. Section 5-17-8 Reports to Administrator of Alabama Credit Union Administration; powers of administrator. (a) Credit unions shall report to the Administrator of the Alabama Credit Union Administration at least annually on or before January 31 in such manner and form as required by the administrator for that purpose. Additional reports may be required. Credit unions shall be examined at least every 18 months by employees of the administration or by other persons designated by the administrator.
