Section 16-13-301 Definitions. The following terms as used in this article shall have the following
meanings: (1) BOARD. Any county board of education and any city board of education. (2) COSTS.
When used with reference to or in connection with any public school facility or any portion
thereof, all or any part of the costs of acquiring, constructing, altering, enlarging, extending,
reconstructing, or remodeling such facility, including (i) the costs of all lands, structures,
real or personal property, rights, rights-of-way, franchises, easements, permits, licenses
and interests acquired or used for, in connection with or with respect to such public school
facility; (ii) the costs of demolishing or removing any buildings or structures on land so

Section 30-6-6 Establishment and funding of facilities. (a) In order to be certified, each
domestic violence center shall do all of the following: (1) Provide a facility that shall
serve as a center to receive and house persons who are victims of domestic violence. For the
purpose of this chapter, minor children and other dependents of a victim, when the dependents
are partly or wholly dependent on the victim for support or services, may be sheltered with

Section 29-2-4 Reporting requirements; powers and duties. (a) On or before January 31 of each
year, any county or city required to report local motor fuel excise tax rate information to
the Department of Revenue pursuant to Act 1998-192 shall provide a similar report to the transportation

Section 16-1-51.1 Comprehensive model policy for supervision and monitoring of juvenile sex
offender students; educational placement of juvenile sex offenders. (a)(1) On or before January
1, 2019, the State Board of Education shall develop a comprehensive model policy for the supervision
and monitoring of juvenile sex offender students, who have a low risk of re-offense and are
enrolled, attending class, and participating in school activities with the general population
of students. The purpose of the model policy is to provide a safe and secure environment for

Section 34-21-25 Denial, suspension, or revocation of license; administrative fines; voluntary
disciplinary alternative program. (a) For disciplinary purposes, the board may adopt, levy,
and collect administrative fines not to exceed one thousand dollars ($1,000) per violation

Section 40-17-371 Cost of collection; distribution of tax proceeds. (a) The Alabama Department
of Revenue shall retain one-quarter of one percent (0.25%) of the tax proceeds, less any refunds,
from this additional excise tax on gasoline and diesel fuel for its cost of collection. The
department may adopt rules and such forms as may be necessary for the administration of the
excise tax provided for in this article. (b) Each month, prior to the remaining payments provided
in this article, up to $750,000 of the tax proceeds from the additional excise tax on gasoline
and up to $230,000 of the tax proceeds from the additional excise tax on diesel fuel shall
