Section 34-24-303 Registration with board; application; denial or termination of registration. (a) Prior to practicing or offering to practice in this state, a licensed assistant to physician shall be registered by the board to perform medical services under the supervision of a physician approved by the board to supervise the assistant. (b) Registration shall be accomplished by the submission to the board of an application on forms established in the board rules, payment of the required registration fee in an amount established in the board rules, and the granting of approval pursuant to procedures designated in the board rules.
