(a)(1) A person may not provide, advertise, or otherwise hold itself out as providing professional employer services in this state unless the person is registered under this chapter to operate a professional employer organization. (2) Each person desiring to operate as a professional employer organization shall file with the secretary a completed registration form to include the following information: a. The name or names under which the professional employer organization conducts business. b. (a) An employer is required to conduct the following types of tests in order to qualify for the workers' compensation insurance premium discounts provided under this article: (1) An employer shall require job applicants to submit to a substance abuse test after extending an offer of employment. (a) Any vessel already covered by a number in full force and effect which has been awarded to it pursuant to the operative federal law or federally approved numbering system of another state may be operated on the waters of this state for a period of 90 consecutive days without being licensed under the provisions of this article. Section 40-29A-3 Tax amnesty program. (a) The department shall develop and implement a tax amnesty program in accordance with the provisions of this chapter. The commissioner may provide by rule as necessary for the administration and implementation of the program. The commissioner shall publicize the program in order to maximize the public awareness of and participation in the program.
