Section 28-3-20 Penalties for violations of provisions of chapter or rules and regulations of boards generally. Any person who violates any of the provisions of this chapter for which a penalty is not provided or any rule or regulation promulgated in conformity with this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be fined not more than $500.00 for each offense and, in addition, may be imprisoned in the county jail for a period not to exceed six months.
