Section 40-18-402 Renewal of Alabama Commission. (a) There is hereby created the Renewal of
Alabama Commission. (b) The commission shall be comprised of all of the following persons:
(1) The Director of Finance, or his or her designee. (2) The Secretary of Commerce, or his
or her designee. (3) The Chair of the House Ways and Means Education Committee, or its successor
committee, if any, or his or her designee. (4) The Chair of the Senate Finance and Taxation
Education Committee, or its successor committee, if any, or his or her designee. (5) Three

Section 16-25-19 Administration. (a) The general administration and responsibility for the
proper operation of the retirement system and for making effective the provisions of this
chapter are hereby vested in a board of trustees which shall be known as the Board of Control

domestic violence center shall do all of the following: (1) Provide a facility that shall
serve as a center to receive and house persons who are victims of domestic violence. For the

a local organization for emergency management in accordance with the state emergency management
