Section 22-19-121 Definitions. As used in this article, the following terms shall have the
following meanings, respectively, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise: (1) CHAIRMAN.
The Chairman of the Department of Surgery, School of Medicine, at the University of Alabama
at Birmingham. (2) PERSON. Any person, firm, partnership, association, joint venture, or corporation,
and any combination of persons herein specified, but "person" shall not include

Section 34-15-1 Definitions. For the purposes of this chapter, the following terms shall have
the meanings respectively ascribed to them by this section: (1) HOTEL. Such term includes
any establishment where sleeping or sleeping and eating accommodations are advertised or held

Section 37-14-2 Definitions. As used in this article, the following terms shall have the following
meanings, respectively, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise; (1) ELECTRIC SUPPLIER.
Any municipality, municipally-owned utility or other governmental entity, any cooperative,

Section 8-16-1 Definitions. For the purposes of this chapter, the following terms shall have
