Section 27-37-1 Assets - Generally. In any determination of the financial condition of an insurer,
there shall be allowed as assets only such assets as are owned by the insurer and which consist
of: (1) Cash in the possession of the insurer or in transit under its control, and including
the true balance of any deposit in a solvent bank or trust company; (2) Investments, securities,
properties, and loans acquired, or held, in accordance with this title and in connection therewith

Section 40-7-98 Payment of pro rata shares of principal of and interest on warrants. The principal
of and interest on the warrants issued under the provisions of this division are hereby declared
to be lawful costs of the equalization program referred to in Division 1 of this article and
to be lawful and necessary governmental costs of the assessment and collection of ad valorem
taxes levied in the county issuing said warrants required by law to be paid as part of the
current governmental operating expenses of each tax recipient body receiving proceeds from

Section 45-28-244.01 Levy and collection of tax; disposition of funds; Etowah County Development
Committee. (a) In Etowah County, there is levied a one cent ($0.01) county sales and use tax
in all areas of the county, which may become effective no sooner than January 1, 1996. (b)

Section 11-99A-14 Payment of assessments. (a) Each assessment shall constitute a lien on the
