Section 16-47-190 Definitions. For purposes of this article, the following words and phrases shall have the respective meanings ascribed by this section: (1) UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA. The Board of Trustees of the University of Alabama. (2) UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA MUSEUM. Mound State Monument, the archeological shrine, the historical museum and the recreational area located near the town of Moundville, Alabama and situated partially in Tuscaloosa and Hale Counties, Alabama, and the museum, shell collection, beetle collection, coin collection and other museum properties owned by the Alabama Museum of Natural History, Incorporated, which are in the custody or under the control of the Geological Survey of Alabama.
