Section 16-6B-2.1 THIS SECTION WAS ASSIGNED BY THE CODE COMMISSIONER IN THE 2016 REGULAR SESSION,
EFFECTIVE APRIL 11, 2016. THIS IS NOT IN THE CURRENT CODE SUPPLEMENT. (a)(1) Contingent on
funding, during the 2016-2017 school year, local school systems may begin installing sufficient,
high-quality standards-based broadband WiFi infrastructure and, where possible, mobile digital
devices to enable access to digital instructional materials and, to the extent practicable,
textbooks in electronic format. (2) In order to accomplish subdivision (1), the following
priorities are established: a. Wireless infrastructure: The first priority for the expenditure
of Alabama Ahead Act funds is the establishment of a high-quality, standards-based wireless
local area network (WLAN) infrastructure capable of providing all teachers and students with

Section 38-13-2 Definitions. When used in this chapter, the following words shall have the
following meanings: (1) ADULT. An individual 19 years of age and older. (2) ADULT CARE FACILITY.

Section 8-26B-2 Definitions. In this chapter: (1) "Agency contract" means an agreement
in which a student athlete authorizes a person to negotiate or solicit on behalf of the athlete

Section 16-6D-9 Tax credit claims; administrative accountability; verification of requirements;
rules and procedures. (a)(1) An individual taxpayer who files a state income tax return and
is not claimed as a dependent of another taxpayer, a taxpayer subject to the corporate income
tax levied by Chapter 18 of Title 40, an Alabama S corporation as defined in Section 40-18-160,
or a Subchapter K entity as defined in Section 40-18-1 may claim a credit for a contribution
made to a scholarship granting organization. If the credit is claimed by an Alabama S corporation

Section 34-29-61 Definitions. For the purposes of this article, the following terms shall have
the following meanings ascribed by this section: (1) ACCREDITED SCHOOL OF VETERINARY MEDICINE.

Section 16-26A-3 Creation of Alabama High School of Mathematics and Science; governance by
board of directors. (a) There is hereby created a pilot program to be called the Alabama High
