Section 16-13A-6 Required reports. (a) The State Board of Education shall by regulation provide
for various financial and other information which local superintendents of education shall
have prepared for the local boards of education, including, but not limited to, the following:
(1) A monthly financial statement showing the financial status of the local board of education
accounts with itemized categories specified by the State Board of Education. (2) A monthly
report showing all receipts and the sources thereof. (3) A monthly report showing all expenditures
with itemized categories specified by the State Board of Education. (4) An annual projected

Section 16-6E-4 Intervention in local education operations and assumption of control by State
Board of Education. The State Board of Education may intervene in the educational operations
of a city or county board of education and thereby assume general and direct control over
all decision making and operational functions of the city or county board of education under

Section 16-39-5 Responsibilities of State Board of Education. The State Board of Education
shall adopt regulations covering: (1) The qualifications of specialists for each type of exceptionality

Section 17-3-12 Per diem for board members; appointments to fill board vacancies. Each member
of the board of registrars shall receive sixty dollars ($60) per day, for each day's attendance
upon the special sessions of the board required under this article; but if such special session
is held on the same day a regular session is required to be held under the laws of this state,
