Section 16-39-11 Transportation. When authorized by regulations of the State Board of Education
in lieu of the amount calculated on the basis of average daily membership otherwise authorized
by law, there shall be allowed from the Education Trust Fund appropriation for transportation
for each bus used exclusively for the purpose of transporting eight or more pupils classified
as exceptional children who are unable to ride regular school buses 80 percent of the cost
of such transportation, and a proportionate amount shall be allowed for a vehicle used exclusively
for the transportation of a smaller number of exceptional children in average daily membership

local board of education shall establish one or more community schools advisory committees
which may become involved in matters affecting the educational process in accordance with
rules established by the local board of education and approved by the State Board of Education

County, the beer taxes imposed pursuant to Section 28-3-190 shall be collected by the county

Section 16-6G-7 Alabama Committee on Grade Level Reading. (a) The State Superintendent of Education
shall establish the Alabama Committee on Grade Level Reading. The committee shall consist

Section 45-28A-30 Board of education - Established. (a) There is hereby established a school
board for the City of Attalla, Alabama, which board shall be called the Attalla Board of Education.
The members of such board shall be elected by vote of the qualified electors of the City of
Attalla, Alabama, as hereinafter provided. The board shall be composed of five members, with
one member of such board being elected from each of five school districts as defined in subsection

may be budgeted and spent by a school council in a pilot program. The school board shall allocate
