(2) Purchase or lease real estate and equipment and make improvements to facilities necessary for the use of the school, in accordance with applicable law. (3) Lease land or other property belonging to the board of trustees or to the school. Section 45-12-101 Election; qualifications; powers and duties; compensation. (a) The Superintendent of Education of Choctaw County shall be elected at the general election to be held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November, 1982, and at the general election every fourth year thereafter, by the qualified electors of Choctaw County. Section 16-6D-9 Tax credit claims; administrative accountability; verification of requirements; rules and procedures. (a)(1) An individual taxpayer who files a state income tax return and is not claimed as a dependent of another taxpayer, a taxpayer subject to the corporate income tax levied by Chapter 18 of Title 40, an Alabama S corporation as defined in Section 40-18-160, or a Subchapter K entity as defined in Section 40-18-1 may claim a credit for a contribution made to a scholarship granting organization. Section 34-21-2 Board of Nursing generally. (a) There is created the Board of Nursing, which shall be composed of 13 members to be appointed and have the duties and powers enumerated in this section. The membership of the board shall be inclusive and reflect the racial, gender, geographic, urban/rural, and economic diversity of the state.
