Section 2-10-31 Hearing on report of commissioner. The State Board of Agriculture and Industries
shall consider all facts relative to the report of the commissioner required by Section 2-10-30
in executive session; provided, that any person the board sees fit may be admitted to such
session, but such person shall not disclose to the public the proceeding, unless otherwise
ordered by said board. The board may summons and examine under oath witnesses, shall consider
the facts contained in the report and may hear from any person interested in such association.
If upon such hearing the board is of the opinion that the protection of the public interest
requires the discontinuance of the operation of the association, or a change of management

Section 34-22-63 Repayment of loans; service contracts. (a) Scholarships extended under subdivision
(1) of Section 34-22-62 shall be repaid following graduation, either in cash as is provided
under subsection (b) or under terms of a contract to serve in a needy area in Alabama for
a term to be specified by the board as provided in subsection (c). Any moneys received from
recipients in repayment of a scholarship loan under subsections (b) and (c) shall upon receipt
thereof be retained by the Board of Optometric Scholarship Awards to be used for the funding

Section 45-37-123.01 Definitions. For the purposes of this part, the following terms shall
have the following meanings: (1) ACT. The act adding this part, to be called the General Retirement
System for Employees of Jefferson County Act. (2) ACTIVE MEMBER. An individual who currently

be awarded under Section 45-37A-51.225 or Section 45-37A-51.226, the board shall first have
