Section 45-3-140.03 Fire protection service fee - Levy; definitions; exemption. (a) There is
levied on the owner of each residence or dwelling in Barbour County, a fire protection service
fee of thirty dollars ($30) per year and on each commercial business at a specified location,
a fire protection service fee of seventy-five dollars ($75) per year. (b) For purposes of
this article, a "residence or dwelling" shall be defined as any building, structure,
or other improvement to real property used or expected to be used as a dwelling or residence
for one or more human beings, including, but not limited to: (1) Any building, structure,
or improvement assessed, for the purposes of state and county ad valorem taxation, as "Class
III" single-family owner-occupied residential property. (2) Any mobile home or house

Section 11-65-5 Composition of commission; terms; qualifications; removal from office. (a)
Every commission shall have five members, which shall constitute its governing body. All powers

Section 20-2-190 Penalties; sale of ephedrine, etc.; Alabama Drug Abuse Task Force. (a) Any

Section 45-49-170.24 Requirements for owner of dog declared dangerous or a nuisance. (a)(1)
If a court determines that a dog is dangerous or a nuisance, but does not order that the dog
be destroyed because evidence was insufficient to determine that the dog caused serious physical
injury or damage to the real or personal property of another person, the owner of the dog
shall comply with the following requirements in addition to any other requirements imposed
by the court: (2) Within 30 days of the issuance of the order declaring the dog to be dangerous
or a nuisance, the owner of the dog shall be required to register the dog with the animal
control authority in the jurisdiction in which the animal is kept or if there is no animal
control authority in the jurisdiction where the animal is kept, with the county health department.
