Section 13A-9-92 Revocation of liquor license for illegal possession of food stamps. Any person, licensed to engage in alcoholic beverage transactions in this state pursuant to the Alcoholic Beverage Licensing Code, Chapter 3A of Title 28, who commits the crime of illegal possession of food stamps, shall, upon conviction thereof, in addition to the criminal penalties provided in this article, have his liquor license revoked by the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board and no future license or permit shall be issued or granted to any such person for a period of one year from the date of the revocation of the license. Section 28-10-7 Compliance as defense to license suspension or revocation; mitigation of administrative penalties or fines. (a) The license of a vendor certified as a responsible vendor under this chapter may not be suspended or revoked for an employee's illegal sale of an alcoholic beverage to a person who is not of lawful drinking age if the employee had completed the applicable training prescribed by this chapter prior to committing such violation, unless the vendor had knowledge of the violation or should have known about such violation, or participated in or committed such violation.
