Section 13A-6-221 Bestiality. (a) A person commits the crime of bestiality if he or she: (1)
Knowingly engages in or submits to any sexual conduct or sexual contact with an animal. (2)
Knowingly causes, aids, or abets another in engaging in any sexual conduct or sexual contact
with an animal. (3) Knowingly permits any sexual conduct or sexual contact with an animal
upon premises under his or her control. (4) Knowingly organizes, promotes, conducts, advertises,
aids, abets, observes, or performs any service furthering an act involving sexual conduct
or sexual contact with an animal for a commercial or recreational purpose. (b) Bestiality
is a Class A misdemeanor. (c) This article shall not apply to accepted animal husbandry practices,

Section 13A-12-200.1 Definitions. As used in this division, the following terms shall have
the meanings respectively ascribed to them by this section: (1) ADULT BOOKSTORES and ADULT

Section 13A-11-14.1 Aggravated cruelty to animals. (a) A person commits the crime of aggravated
cruelty to animals if the person intentionally or knowingly violates Section 13A-11-14, and
the act of cruelty or neglect involved the infliction of torture to the animal. (b) The word
torture as used in this section shall mean the act of doing physical injury to an animal by
the infliction of inhumane treatment or gross physical abuse meant to cause the animal intensive
or prolonged pain or serious physical injury, or by causing the death of the animal. (c) For

intimidate the person depicted. (a) A person commits the crime of distributing a private image
if he or she knowingly posts, emails, texts, transmits, or otherwise distributes a private

Section 11-65-38 Disqualification due to gambling activities. No person who engages in the
practice of professional gambling on horse races or greyhound races, or in the practice of
making gambling or wagering books on such races, or who knowingly takes any part in such practice,
shall be eligible as an applicant for any horse racing facility license or any operator's
license to conduct horse racing or greyhound racing and pari-mutuel wagering thereon under
the provisions of this chapter, or to be connected with such licensed activities in any capacity,
