Section 36-25-1 Definitions. Whenever used in this chapter, the following words and terms shall have the following meanings: (1) BUSINESS. Any corporation, partnership, proprietorship, firm, enterprise, franchise, association, organization, self-employed individual, or any other legal entity. (2) BUSINESS WITH WHICH THE PERSON IS ASSOCIATED. Any business of which the person or a member of his or her family is an officer, owner, partner, board of director member, employee, or holder of more than five percent of the fair market value of the business. (3) CANDIDATE. This term as used in this chapter shall have the same meaning ascribed to it in Section 17-5-2. (4) COMMISSION. The State Ethics Commission. (5) COMPLAINT. Written allegation or allegations that a violation of this chapter has occurred. (6) COMPLAINANT. Section 45-26A-70.12 Architectural review board. (a) Wetumpka, enacting an ordinance pursuant to this article, may elect to create an architectural review board, hereinafter sometimes called the board, to perform the duties and responsibilities of the historic preservation commission in accepting, considering, and approving or rejecting applications for certificates of appropriateness, as set out in Sections 45-26A-70.08 to 45-26A-70.11, inclusive. (b) If such board is created, it shall be composed of not less than five members who shall have demonstrated training or experience in the fields of history, architecture, architectural history, urban planning, archaeology, or law. Section 11-86A-5 Contents, signing, and filing of articles. (a) The articles of an authority shall state all of the following: (1) The names of the incorporators and that each is a resident of the county of incorporation.
