Section 41-10-541 Definitions. (a) The following words and phrases used in this division, and others evidently intended as the equivalent thereof, shall, in the absence of clear implication herein otherwise, be given the following respective interpretations herein: (1) APPROPRIATED FUNDS. Net TVA payments to the extent such payments are pledged and appropriated to the authority pursuant to Section 41-10-550. (2) AUTHORITY. The public corporation organized pursuant to this division. (3) AUTHORITY GUARANTY. Section 11-44B-25 Procedures to reduce or delete areas from police jurisdiction. Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, any Class 4 municipality that is organized pursuant to this article may from time to time reduce or delete various portions and areas from the territorial limits of its respective police jurisdiction or its planning jurisdiction or both as established by law, including, but not limited to, Sections 11-40-10 and 11-52-30, Act 76-594 and as amended by Act 94-539, the reduction and deletion shall be pursuant to the following procedure: (1) INITIATION. Section 22-30E-3 Definitions. Unless otherwise defined in this chapter, the definition of all terms included in Section 22-30-3 shall be applicable to this chapter. Other definitions as necessary may be promulgated as regulations by the department for further implementation of this chapter. Section 40-27-1 Compact adopted; terms. The following Multistate Tax Compact is hereby approved, adopted and enacted into law by the State of Alabama: Multistate Tax Compact Article I. Purposes. Section 9-16-91 Surface effects of underground coal mining; requirements; remedies. (a) The regulatory authority shall promulgate rules and regulations directed toward the surface effects of underground coal mining operations, and embodying the following requirements. In adopting any rules and regulations, the regulatory authority shall consider all distinct differences between surface coal mining and underground coal mining. Section 22-40A-3 Definitions. The following terms shall have the following meanings unless the context clearly indicates otherwise: (1) APPROVED. Authorized, certified, permitted by, or meets standards of a regulatory authority. (2) AUTHORIZED DISPOSAL. Section 13A-11-61.3 Regulation of firearms, ammunition, and firearm accessories.
