Section 45-47-250 Definitions. When used in this article, the following words and phrases shall have the following meanings, respectively, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise: (1) AUTHORITY. The Marion County Public Water Authority, a public corporation organized pursuant to this article. (2) BOARD. The Board of Directors of the Marion County Public Water Authority. (3) BONDS. Bonds, notes, and certificates representing an obligation to pay money. (4) CONCISE LEGAL DESCRIPTION. Section 10A-2A-11.04 Action on a plan of merger or stock exchange. In the case of a corporation that is a constituent organization or the acquired entity in a stock exchange, the plan of merger or stock exchange shall be adopted in the following manner: (a) The plan of merger or stock exchange shall first be adopted by the board of directors.
