Section 45-23-72.01 Districts. For purposes of electing members of the county commission, Dale
County, Alabama, is hereby divided in four county commission districts with boundaries defined
as follows: District 1 Beginning at the corner of Dale, Coffee, and Pike Counties, said corner

Section 45-49-181.03 Prioritized list of roads; review; coordination; completion of requirements.
On or prior to the first day of the month of February, the county commission shall submit
copies of each petition received to the county engineer. The county engineer, on or prior
to the last day of the month of March of the same year, shall return to the commission a prioritized
list of the roads submitted by petitioners. This prioritized list shall be based on the density
of development along each road. The list shall designate the commission district in which
the road is located. The county commission shall review the list of eligible roads, and on
or prior to the last day of April, shall return to the county engineer the prioritized list
designating those roads which shall be considered for acceptance for the county road maintenance

Section 45-49-181.08 Duties of chair. The chair designated on the petition shall be the official
representative for the petitioners and shall be responsible for the following duties: (1)

Section 9-9-24 Procedure as to proposed improvement crossing railroad right-of-way. Whenever
the proposed improvement crosses the right-of-way of any railroad company, it shall be the
duty of the board of water management commissioners, before adopting the plan of water management,
to promptly notify such railroad company by serving written notice on any agent of such company
or its lessee or receiver, such notice fixing the time of such meeting, which shall be not
less than 10 days after the service of the same, that the board of water management commissioners
will meet the company at the place where the proposed works of improvement will cross the
right-of-way of such company for the purpose of conferring with said railroad company with
relation to the place and the manner in which said improvement shall cross such right-of-way.

Section 11-65-5 Composition of commission; terms; qualifications; removal from office. (a)
Every commission shall have five members, which shall constitute its governing body. All powers
of a commission shall be exercised by its members or pursuant to their authorization. The

Section 45-44-170.04 Licensing and operation of junkyards. (a) No person shall establish, operate,
or maintain a junkyard containing any items listed in Section 45-44-170.01, but not limited
to those items any portion of which is within 1,000 feet of the nearest edge of the right-of-way
of any highway, without obtaining a county license to do so from the Macon County Commission
