Section 2-8-282 Remission of collections to treasurer of association. The Commissioner of Agriculture
and Industries shall remit to the treasurer of the certified association all moneys paid to
or collected by him or her not later than the last day of January, April, July, and October
of each year, less an amount not to exceed three percent of the total amount so collected,
which commission shall be deposited in the Agricultural Fund of the State Treasury. The amount

In Colbert County, the payments made to the county commission as authorized in Section 40-28-2,

the Lawrence County Community Development Commission which shall be authorized to receive

to Chapter 28, Title 40, as amended, Limestone County, within a reasonable time thereafter,

Section 45-11-247.06 Charge for collection; trust account. The department shall charge Chilton
County for collecting the tax levied under this part in an amount or percentage of total collections
as may be agreed upon by the commissioner and the Chilton County Commission. The charge shall
not exceed five percent of the total amount of the tax collected in the county. The charge
may be deducted each month from the gross revenues from the tax before certification of the
