Section 11-65-44 Presence of underage persons prohibited. No person under 19 years of age shall be employed for any purpose in or about a racing facility where either horse racing or greyhound racing is conducted pursuant to any license issued by a commission under the provisions of this chapter, except in a job which does not allow or require contact with members of the public engaged in wagering activities, such as the job of groom, animal exerciser, stable attendant, parking attendant, or office worker. Section 11-65-17 Terms of horse racing facility license. (a) A horse racing facility license issued under this chapter shall be for a period of 20 years, but shall be reviewed annually. Section 45-44-150.12 Tax due parimutuel pools; distribution of contributions. Every licensee conducting a race meeting under this part shall pay to the treasurer of the racing commission on a quarterly basis, a tax equal to four percent of the total contributions to all parimutuel pools made at the track. The total take out by a licensee on any parimutuel pool shall be 18 percent. After deducting four percent for the racing commission and 14 percent for the licensee, the remainder of the total contributions to each pool shall be divided among and redistributed to the contributors to such pools betting on the winning dogs. (a) Each horse racing operator shall pay to the treasurer of the commission licensing such operator a commission horse wagering fee for each calendar year during which it conducts any horse racing events.
