Section 24-2-9 Investment by public bodies, etc., in bonds, etc., issued by housing authorities, etc. Bonds or other obligations issued by a housing authority or the governing body of any incorporated city or town, in connection with a redevelopment project pursuant to this chapter, shall be security for public deposits and legal investments to the same extent and for the same persons, institutions, associations, corporations, and other bodies and officers as bonds or other obligations issued pursuant to this title in connection with the development of slum clearance and housing projects. Section 39-7-1 Definitions. When used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the following meanings, respectively, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise: (1) AUTHORITY. A corporation created pursuant to this chapter. (2) MUNICIPALITY. Section 11-71-2 Short title; definitions. (a) This chapter shall be known as and may be cited as "The Neighborhood Infrastructure Incentive Plan Act of 2011."
