Section 37-13-1 Definitions. When used in this chapter, unless the context plainly indicates otherwise, the present tense shall include the future tense, the singular shall include the plural, the plural shall include the singular and the following words and phrases shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them by this section. Section 33-16-9 Contracts. The aggregate monetary obligation that the authority may incur in connection with its contracts (other than contracts of the type described in the next succeeding paragraph) shall not at any time exceed the sum of: (1) Any uncommitted or unencumbered moneys then appropriated to the authority by the Legislature; and (2) Any uncommitted or unencumbered proceeds of bonds available or to become available from bonds then authorized by the authority and approved by the Governor pursuant to Section 33-16-12.
