Section 41-10-725 Alabama Construction Recruitment Institute - Powers. The institute shall
have the following powers: (1) To design, implement, and amend a program or programs to provide
for the recruitment of, and the promotion of training programs and opportunities for, new

Articulation and General Studies Committee. (a)(1) The Commission on Higher Education is authorized
to review periodically all new and existing programs and units of instruction, research, and
public service funded by state appropriations at the state universities and colleges and to
share with the appropriate governing board, through the president of the institution, and

Amount of levy. Every corporation organized under the laws of any other state, nation, or
territory and doing business in this state, except strictly benevolent, educational, or religious
corporations, shall pay annually to the state an annual franchise tax of three dollars ($3)
