Section 29-2A-2 Composition; terms; vacancies; meetings; rulemaking authority. (a) The commission
shall be composed of the following members: (1) Three members of the House of Representatives
appointed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, one of whom shall be a member of
the minority party. (2) Three members of the Senate appointed by the President Pro Tempore
of the Senate, one of whom shall be a member of the minority party. (3) Six members appointed
by the Governor. (4) The Director of Finance, or his or her designee, who shall serve as a

Section 36-25-9 Service on regulatory boards and commissions regulating business with which
person associated; members who have financial interest in matter prohibited from voting. (a)
Unless expressly provided otherwise by law, no person shall serve as a member or employee

Section 11-44G-2 Procedures in event of vacancy - Mayor. (a)(1) In the event of the absence
or disability of the mayor in any Class 7 or Class 8 municipality, the functions of the office

body or a majority of them must, not less than 15 days before the holding of any municipal
election, appoint from the qualified electors of the respective wards or voting districts
