Section 45-41A-40.01 Definitions. The following words and phrases used in this part, and others evidently intended as the equivalent thereof, in the absence of clear implication herein otherwise, shall be given the following respective interpretations herein: (1) APPLICANT. A natural person who files a written application with the governing body of the city in accordance with Section 45-41A-40.03. (2) AUTHORITY. Section 11-20-70 Establishment of agriculture authority; application; articles of incorporation. (a) An agriculture authority may be established in any county to construct and operate facilities to promote agricultural businesses, operations, and commodities, workforce development, and economic development within the county as further provided in this article. The operational area of an agriculture authority may not extend beyond the boundaries of the county in which an agriculture authority is incorporated.
