Section 11-20-30 Definitions. Whenever used in this article, unless a different meaning clearly appears in the context, the following terms, whether used in the singular or plural, shall be given the following respective interpretations: (1) CORPORATION. Any corporation organized pursuant to the provisions of this article. (2) COUNTY. Any county in this state with respect to which a corporation may be organized. (3) GOVERNING BODY. The commission of the county. (4) MORTGAGE. A mortgage or a mortgage and deed of trust or a trust indenture. (5) PROJECT. Section 16-16-10 Disposition of proceeds of bonds. (a) The proceeds of all bonds, other than refunding bonds, issued by the authority remaining after paying expenses of their issuance shall be deposited in the State Treasury and shall be carried in the State Treasury in a special or separate account. (a) The County Commission of Jefferson County shall have authority, after notice as provided herein, to move or demolish buildings and structures, or parts of buildings and structures, party walls, and foundations when the same are found by the county commission to be unsafe to the extent of being a public nuisance from any cause.
