Section 11-86A-6 Authorization and procedure for reincorporation of existing park and recreation authorities and boards; continuation in office of directors; effect of reincorporation. (a) In all cases where there has been an attempt to create or incorporate a park and recreation authority or park and recreation board, but the attempted creation or incorporation is or may be invalid because of an irregularity in the procedure followed or invalidity of or defect in the statute under which the attempted creation or incorporation of the authority or board was made, a minimum of three natural persons residing in the county in which the authority is to be incorporated may file a written application with the probate judge of the county in which the park and recreation authority or park and recreation board has been incorporated or attempted to be created or incorporated, which application shall: (1) Contain a statement that the incorporators propose to reincorporate an authority pursuant to...

(a) A statement of economic interests shall be completed and filed in accordance with this chapter with the commission no later than April 30 of each year covering the period of the preceding calendar year by each of the following: (1) All elected public officials at the state, county, or municipal level of government or their instrumentalities. Section 17-10-2 Provisional ballots; certification; tabulation; identification of ballots. (a) A voter shall be required to cast a provisional ballot when: (1) The name of the individual does not appear on the official list of eligible voters for the precinct or polling place in which the individual seeks to vote, and the individual's registration cannot be verified while at the polling place by the registrar or the judge of probate. (2) An inspector has knowledge that the individual is not entitled to vote at that precinct and challenges the individual. Section 45-4-111 Electronic voting system authorized; requirements for use. (a) As used in this section: (1) "Automatic tabulating equipment" shall mean apparatus which automatically examines and counts votes recorded on paper ballots or ballot cards and tabulates the results. Section 11-40-14 Expense allowances for members of governing body of Class 1 municipalities; reimbursement for expenses incurred beyond corporate limits. (a) The council or other governing body of Class 1 municipalities in Alabama and all municipalities in Alabama having a population of 250,000 or more according to the last and any subsequent federal decennial census, shall have the power and authority to grant to any member of such council or other governing body an amount of money for expenses incurred by such member on account of such member's attending the business of such municipality within its corporate limits.
