Section 41-10-541 Definitions. (a) The following words and phrases used in this division, and
others evidently intended as the equivalent thereof, shall, in the absence of clear implication
herein otherwise, be given the following respective interpretations herein: (1) APPROPRIATED
FUNDS. Net TVA payments to the extent such payments are pledged and appropriated to the authority
pursuant to Section 41-10-550. (2) AUTHORITY. The public corporation organized pursuant to

Section 41-14A-2 Definitions. As used in this chapter, the following words and terms shall
have the following meanings: (1) AVERAGE MONTHLY BALANCE OF PUBLIC DEPOSITS. The sum of the
average daily balances of public deposits, meaning the net average daily balances of public
deposits determined without any deduction for deposit insurance, for the reported month and

Section 11-54A-9 Powers of authority; all projects to be in development area. (a) The authority
shall have the following powers, together with all powers incidental thereto or necessary

Section 40-23-5 Certain organizations and vendors exempt from payment of state, county, and
municipal sales and use taxes. (a) The Diabetes Trust Fund, Inc., and any of its branches
or agencies, heretofore or hereafter organized and existing in good faith in the State of

Section 11-101A-15 Use of proceeds. (a) The principal proceeds derived from any borrowing made
by an authority shall be used solely for the purpose or purposes for which the borrowing was
authorized to be made. If any securities are issued for the purpose of financing costs of
acquiring, constructing, improving, enlarging, and equipping a project, those costs shall

Section 45-22-243.99 Use of tax proceeds. (a) Commencing with the first month during which
proceeds from the taxes herein levied are paid and thereafter, the county treasurer shall
make monthly distributions of the proceeds so paid to him or her as follows: (1) From the
