Section 16-47-151 Scholarships to division of nursing - Who eligible. To be eligible to receive
a scholarship provided by this article, a person must have been a resident of the State of
Alabama for a period of at least one year immediately preceding the time of making application
and must be a person of good character and shall have been accepted for matriculation by the
authorities of the University of Alabama, Huntsville, Alabama and shall have met the requirements
for professional nursing education as determined by the Division of Nursing of the University

Section 22-21-264 Criteria for state agency review. The SHPDA, pursuant to the provisions of
Section 22-21-274, shall prescribe by rules and regulations the criteria and clarifying definitions

be exempted from this chapter: (1) The practice of general contracting, as defined in Section
