Section 41-18-1 Text. Article I. Findings and Purposes. (a) The party states find that the South has a sense of community based on common social, cultural and economic needs and fostered by a regional tradition. There are vast potentialities for mutual improvement of each state in the region by cooperative planning for the development, conservation and efficient utilization of human and natural resources in a geographic area large enough to afford a high degree of flexibility in identifying and taking maximum advantage of opportunities for healthy and beneficial growth. Section 10A-2A-1.40 Chapter definitions. Section 25-4-51 Rates of contributions, etc., by employers. (a) Contributions. Except as hereinafter provided and subject to the provisions of Section 25-4-54, every employer shall pay contributions, or payments in lieu of contributions, equal to the percentages of wages payable or paid as hereinafter set out, with respect to employment by him. Section 10A-20-8.05 Declaratory actions - Institution of action. Upon resolution or written declaration by the majority group, upon giving 30 days' notice to the parent organization, and upon giving like notice to the organization membership or the official governing body of the local organization, a corporation formed by the majority group shall be authorized to institute a civil action on behalf of itself and the majority group at the cost of the plaintiff if none of the defendants contest the action, otherwise, the costs to be taxed within the discretion of the circuit court of the county in which the local organization is located, for a judicial finding and declaratory action as provided in this section.
