be in addition to all other dog or cat licenses or fees provided for by law. (c) All fees
collected pursuant to this section shall be deposited into a separate fund in Madison County

Section 13A-11-245 Disposition of animal. (a) The law enforcement officer or agent of the county
or municipality may provide for the dog or cat until either the dog or cat is returned to
the owner by the court, or the court refuses to return the dog or cat to the owner and implements
one of the procedures pursuant to subsection (c). (b) If the owner is adjudged by the court,

Section 15-20A-4 Definitions. For purposes of this chapter, the following words shall have
the following meanings: (1) ADULT SEX OFFENDER. A person convicted of a sex offense. (2) CHILD.

Section 45-49-170.22 Investigations; impounding; judicial determination. (a) An animal control
officer or law enforcement officer of Mobile County shall investigate any incidents involving
any dog reported to be dangerous or a nuisance in the unincorporated areas of Mobile County.
(b) If a dog, which is unowned and has been reported to be dangerous, bites a person, the
dog may be quarantined and destroyed pursuant to subsection of Section 3-7A-9. For purposes
of this subsection, bites means the same as has been exposed as defined in subdivision (5)

Section 3-6A-4 Sworn statement; dangerous dog investigation; hearing; procedures. (a)(1) When
a person claims that a dog is dangerous, the person shall make a sworn statement before a
city magistrate or sheriff setting forth the name of the dog owner, if known, the location
where the dog is being kept in the city or county, and the reason he or she believes the dog

Section 3-9-1 Definitions. As used in this chapter, the following words shall have the following
meanings: (1) ANIMAL SHELTER. Any facility operated by or under contract for the state or
any county, municipal corporation, or other political subdivision of the state for the purpose

Section 45-45-80 Administrative fees. (a) The Madison County Work Release and Pre-Trial Release
Commission may establish administrative fees to fund alternative sentencing programs, educational
programs, intervention programs, treatment programs, and other programs to serve the courts
of the Twenty-third Judicial Circuit, and may collect the fees from any person ordered by
the courts to complete an alternative sentencing program, or other program administered by
the commission. (b) The commission shall have sole authority to establish administrative fees

it is the intention of this chapter to occupy by preemption the field of air pollution control

Section 3-7A-2 Dogs, cats, and ferrets to be immunized; sale, etc., of vaccine; vaccination
exemptions. (a) Every owner of a dog, cat, or ferret required to be immunized for rabies as
defined in this chapter, shall cause the animal to be immunized by the rabies officer, his
or her authorized representative, or any duly licensed veterinarian, when the animal reaches
three months of age and subsequently in accordance with the intervals specified in the vaccine's
